Music
We are extremely grateful to be one of the few Ukrainian dance groups that still perform to live music. Showcasing our culture and keeping the Ukrainian heritage alive is central to our ethos and as we pass through the generations, what better way to demonstrate this than through the art of music.
The director and conductor of the musicians is Mychajlo Kuziw - an expert accordion player who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Ukrainian music and a true talent for creating new melodies. Our talented musicians are the heart of our ensemble and play an assortment of instruments which include: Accordion, Mandolin, Double Bass, Tsymbaly (Dulcimer), Recorder, Viola, Tambourine and Drum.
